Insurance & Medical
Each student is covered under the Studentguard+ insurance which is underwritten by Chubb – personal insurance (formerly ACE). Their policy, which is widely used by many Summer Schools in the UK covers students for various medical expenses, personal injury, personal liability and loss of personal belongings including money, credit cards and passports.
You can view a full policy stating exactly what is covered and the values of the excess for each item. Alternatively a summary of the policy and Natural Disasters Extension is also available.
Students who have minor injuries are taken to the local Brants Bridge NHS hospital in Bracknell. Alternatively a full Accident and Emergency service is at the nearby Frimley park hospital.
