About the activity
Golf is a popular sport at Wellington College and the College has its own golf course and attracts golf scholars from throughout the UK. Professional coach David Rennie who was the former professional at Wentworth Club is very used to dealing with students of all abilities. He works with groups of students to ensure they have the basics of putting, chipping and swing. The driving range and putting green are put to full use.
Students who are more serious about their golf have the opportunity play the Colleges private course and are taught about bunker play and are given tips on some of the Colleges more challenging holes.
Students who are new to golf are provided with clubs and equipment but those that are more advanced and want to play the course should bring their clubs with them onto the Summer School Course.
