Bath Study Day scheduled for 2016

Bath is a vibrant city, boasting a stunning spa, fabulous architecture, truly unique shopping and a lively calendar of festivals and events.

Located in the South West of England, Bath is easy to get to and offers Summer School students a unique perspective on life in the UK.

Bath is a compact city making it easy to walk around during our visit and as well as visiting the historic Roman baths students will have the opportunity to learn about life in the UK in Roman times and how it contributed to the modern way of living.

The Roman Bath house was the heart of the Roman community and people would go to bathe, and also to conduct business and socialize with friends.

Baths were very important to the Romans and all citizens used the baths on a daily basis.  They could then relax and watch the entertainment on offer and eat. All cities in the Roman Empire had fresh water supplies and Roman citizens were encouraged to keep clean.
