WHO WE ARE
Berkshire International Summer Schools aims to deliver a first class summer school experience to students from all around the world. It is a great way for your child to get a taster of what life in the UK is like and help them decide if they can cope with being away from home and what to expect when they finally make the leap to studying overseas.
A summer school such as the one held at Wellington College offers students the opportunity to try different interests, explore new activities and participate with other like-minded students in leadership challenges. As well as making new friends it offers a safe environment to reflect on who they are and what they want to become. Giving students confidence and a belief that they can achieve and reach their goal is embedded in the course.
Students are placed into boarding houses each of which would have a Housemaster or Housemistress and a resident tutor. Assistants and translators also help out with classes and cultural activities. This is the sort of environment that will nurture students while still giving them freedom to grow away from home.
Our founder has over 20 years of educational experience in British state and Independent schools as well as International Schools. Our sister company, China UK Education, has continued to grow year on year due to the excellent feedback from students that have been on the course. China UK Education was setup in 2013 as a response to the growing need from Chinese students to experience the elite education system in the UK.
Our staff
Our staff are all highly experienced and committed to making this the best Summer School experience we can offer. The resident staff all have a caring attitude toward students and are all first aid trained. Our teachers all have degrees from top universities and many work in top schools in the UK.
The students experienced the culture of the UK, made new friends, enjoyed western food and learned how to be gentlemen and gentlewomen.
